Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional software development
- Strong proficiency in Node.js
- Proven experience in building and utilizing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with relational databases, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Vue, or equivalent)
- Understanding of authentication processes, middleware, and API security protocols
- Proficient in Git and version control systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Familiarity with marketplace APIs such as eBay, Amazon, or Shopify (preferred)
- Experience with inventory management or eCommerce systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud computing platforms (preferred)
- Experience in writing unit tests (preferred)
- Basic understanding of DevOps practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain RESTful APIs utilizing Node.js and Express
- Integrate various third-party platforms including eBay, Shopify, and payment processors
- Manage databases for inventory, fitment data, and order processing workflows
- Assist in frontend feature enhancements using React or similar frameworks
- Enhance automation processes across sales, inventory management, and core acquisition systems
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Diagnose production issues and enhance system performance
- Collaborate effectively with operations and sales teams to meet business needs
