Grounds team member

- Conduct general grounds upkeep and preventative maintenance on landscaping equipment - Assist maintenance teams in the repair and upkeep of the facility as needed - Supervise fellow grounds personnel - Trim and care for pathways, flowerbeds, and retention walls - Sweep and tidy driveways, patios, walkways, and entrances - Rake and clear leaves from the premises; clean out drainage ditches and culverts, transporting debris to disposal areas - Water lawns, shrubs, and trees during dry spells or when necessary using hoses, portable sprinklers, or a fixed irrigation system - Maintain grounds equipment per our preventative maintenance timetable or as situations arise - Be available for emergency snow and ice removal in adverse weather - Monitor weather for snow/ice conditions and apply salt as necessary, utilizing tractors or various equipment for snow clearance - Remove snow via plowing or shoveling - Address icy streets and sidewalks as needed - Provide assistance to maintenance personnel when required
