Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Slack Administrator, demonstrating expertise in managing channels, user groups, and guest access
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Desk, Zendesk, or Freshdesk
- Strong ability to manage ticket queues effectively, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining thorough documentation
- Experience in hardware management, including the handling of YubiKeys, peripherals, and loaner laptops
- Proficient in providing macOS support, with skills in basic user-level troubleshooting
- Excellent written communication skills, enabling clear and concise responses to tickets
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee Slack administration functions
- Process changes in channel memberships and user groups
- Transition channels between private and public settings as required
- Invite single-channel guests and external collaborators; oversee Slack Connect channel approvals
- Diagnose Slack login and Single Sign-On (SSO) issues
- Review and approve or direct Slack app integration requests in accordance with company policies
