Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of practical experience with the Workato integration platform
- 4+ years of administration experience on the Workato platform
- Strong skills in recipe development, including complexity, error management, and optimization
- Proven ability to deliver integration projects at an enterprise level
- 2+ years of experience building AI Agents utilizing Workato Genie with AI Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Prompt Engineering with tangible outcomes
- 2+ years of experience in implementing Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions
- 1+ year of experience in developing MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers
- In-depth knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their use in automation
- 5+ years of experience in API development and management
- 5+ years of experience with SFTP protocols and secure file transfer methods
- 2+ years of experience deploying and managing Workato On-Premises Agents (OPA), including private link setup
- Strong understanding of authentication frameworks such as OAuth, SAML, JWT, and API Keys
- Familiarity with various data formats including JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, and JavaScript
- Experience with cloud service providers including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
- Knowledge of enterprise application ecosystems such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, and ServiceNow
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities, capable of conveying technical ideas to non-technical audiences
- Self-driven, able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Committed to ongoing education and staying updated with integration technologies
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and uphold complex integration recipes on the Workato platform
- Architect robust, enterprise-level integration solutions across diverse systems and applications
- Create and enhance AI-driven automation workflows using Workato Genie
- Develop and implement MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to expand AI agent capabilities
- Execute Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions for the automated extraction and processing of data
- Engineer advanced prompts for AI agents to enhance automation results
- Develop AI Skills and train Genie agents for the automation of business processes
- Integrate AI/ML functionalities into automation workflows
- Continuously assess and incorporate new AI technologies within the Workato environment
- Manage and maintain Workato platform environments (development, staging, production)
- Deploy and oversee Workato On-Premises Agents (OPA) for secure internal system connectivity
- Set up private links and secure tunnels for integrations behind firewalls
- Establish best practices for recipe development, including version control and deployment
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance resource utilization
- Design and implement RESTful and SOAP API integrations
- Oversee the API lifecycle including design, documentation, security, and versioning
- Configure and sustain SFTP connections for secure file exchanges
- Develop custom connectors and API endpoints as required
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements into technical solutions
- Document technical designs, patterns for integration, and operational workflows
- Partake in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards
