Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of experience with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or 8+ years with a Masters Degree, or 6+ years with a PhD
- Demonstrated proficiency in designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Front-End Design Verification flows and CAD infrastructure for large-scale, high-performance projects.
- Expertise in flow-based regression management, along with strong analytical capabilities in debugging regression and coverage challenges.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Synopsys VCS, IES, and RTL architecture tools, with practical experience in xprop configuration for VCS and IES.
- Advanced understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, Perforce, and Git-P4 interfaces, with the ability to support and enhance versioning workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, with a background in working directly with EDA vendors to address issues and optimize tool performance.
- Capacity to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team, coupled with a proactive mindset towards problem-solving and a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design, support, and continuously enhance highly complex, scalable, and efficient verification flows while ensuring their robustness.
- Collaborate on development of advanced flow-based regression tools and maintain them with consistent support and updates based on evolving project needs.
- Lead regression management systems, including flow-based regression support, proactively managing triage and user requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure uninterrupted project workflow, demonstrating expertise in debugging coverage and regression fail triaging, as well as ensuring flow stability.
- Serve as the primary contact for addressing VCS Synopsys issues, providing comprehensive debugging and solutions to complex challenges.
- Maintain regular communication with Synopsys vendors and other EDA partners to coordinate tool support, resolving escalated issues, and remaining updated on new developments.
- Successfully deploy and support RTL Architecture tools, ensuring their integration with FE verification flows and addressing any necessary support needs.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of Git in version control processes.
