Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack web development.
- You should have strong expertise in WordPress, including custom themes, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types (CPTs), and optionally headless setups.
- Comfort with JavaScript/React.js is necessary, as you will need to contribute to React/Next.js projects when required.
- It would be beneficial to have experience with Shopify, Liquid, and storefront customization.
- Familiarity with sprint planning, scoping, quality assurance, and client deliverables is essential.
- A solid understanding of front-end performance, accessibility, and responsive development is important.
- You should thrive in a fast-paced agency environment and feel confident working on multiple client projects.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to lead and manage WordPress builds, from the development of custom themes to plugin integration and performance optimization.
- You will be contributing to headless WordPress or hybrid builds utilizing REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Supporting React.js / Next.js based front-ends on projects will be part of your role.
- You will work on Shopify storefronts, customizing themes, templates, and Liquid components as needed.
- Collaboration with designers, CRO strategists, and project managers will be vital in translating high-impact UI/UX into clean, scalable code.
- I need you to work within agile sprints and utilize tools like Asana, Notion, or Monday.com for task tracking and communication.
- Employing AI tools to boost productivity, such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT, will be encouraged, but you should be comfortable working independently.
Description
This position is fully remote, but I need candidates to reside within the Greater Montreal Area. Office use is entirely optional. The job type is full-time, and pay starts from $70,000.00 annually.
