Requirements
Must:
- 4–6 years of experience in software development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in Core Java, including Collections, Concurrency, and Multi-threading
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka, including producer and consumer applications
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and data transformations (JSON/XML)
- Experience integrating microservices with databases and external systems
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Basic to intermediate skills with Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket
- Proficient in unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito
- Basic understanding of integration testing principles
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and REST API security concepts (OAuth2, JWT)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Adaptable mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
- Effective communication skills in a remote team environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot
- Build and maintain Kafka producer and consumer applications for real-time data streaming
- Develop RESTful APIs and manage JSON/XML data transformations
- Integrate microservices with various databases, message brokers, and external systems
- Support cloud deployments and work with containerized applications
- Write unit and integration tests to uphold code quality
- Troubleshoot application issues and enhance performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Management
- Adhere to secure coding practices and meet enterprise development standards
