Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field, or a High School Diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience
- Minimum of seven years of previous work experience in the field
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or similar qualification
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or related credential
- In-depth knowledge of application security principles and secure coding methods
- Proven ability to design and integrate security controls within CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Capacity to create clear and actionable security reports and dashboards
- Experience with multiple application security technologies such as SAST, DAST, IAST, and API security
- Familiarity with change control, problem management, and incident management in security solutions
- Ability to manage several projects concurrently with efficiency
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and execution of application security architecture across enterprise applications, collaborating with development and infrastructure teams
- Integrate security measures and best practices into CI/CD workflows and DevSecOps initiatives
- Assess, implement, and manage application security tools, ensuring their effectiveness and scalability
- Establish, maintain, and track application security metrics and reporting frameworks for visibility to leadership
- Communicate with vendor partners to evaluate and validate the security features of services and applications
- Provide mentorship on application security standards and risk management to enhance security maturity across teams
- Assist in off-hours support for troubleshooting or addressing emerging security threats
- Oversee the Information Protection function, focusing on security technologies for data and network protection
- Participate in leadership discussions within the Information Security Office to foster innovative security solutions
- Lead security audits and monitor intrusion detection logs for anomalies
- Respond to complex and suspicious security incidents reported by users or the Help Desk
- Deliver advanced remediation and support during application events for IT operations
- Conduct initial forensic investigations for potential fraud cases and related activities
- Design and support logging systems for firewalls, routers, and operating systems
- Assess and recommend updates to hardware or software configurations
- Identify and address any changes in system configuration that could impact event monitoring
