Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in information security, with at least 3 years focused on product security, application security, or cloud security.
- Familiarity with consumer expectations and balancing security protocols with user experience.
- Proven history of leading security projects in fast-paced and agile settings.
- Extensive experience in secure code reviews, business logic assessments, and application security testing with a strong grasp of network, data, and cloud security principles.
- Deep understanding of security standards and best practices, such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO.
- Proven ability to deploy cybersecurity solutions in public cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in security tools and technologies, including web application firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Experience within the media and entertainment industry, or related consumer platforms, is beneficial.
- Familiarity with implementing and managing DevSecOps initiatives and tools (e.g., GHAS, Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and integrating security within the software development lifecycle (CI/CD).
- Experience in securing cloud services on AWS, GCP, and Azure through automation and CI/CD.
- Background in managing secure code deployments across multiple programming languages (Python, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, GraphQL, SDK, and RESTful APIs).
- Preferably hold certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GPEN, or OSCP.
Responsibilities
- Enhance Product Security initiatives by engaging in security architecture strategies, scalable product threat modeling, and technical project implementations.
- Aid in crafting and executing security roadmap strategies to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of initiatives.
- Establish and uphold security standards, policies, and best practices for product development teams to comply with industry regulations like PCI, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize security concerns and requirements, providing essential guidance on security architecture, design, testing, and remediation.
- Contribute to the creation and application of security metrics and dashboards to assess and communicate the security effectiveness of our products and platforms.
- Stay updated with emerging security threats and trends, actively participating in discussions regarding potential security solutions and protocols.
- Facilitate the implementation of DevSecOps principles within the product development cycle, encompassing continuous integration, delivery, automation, and collaboration.
- Familiarize with common vulnerabilities in consumer-facing digital services and utilize cloud security best practices to fortify products and platforms across AWS, GCP, and Azure, employing automation and CI/CD.
- Build and maintain effective relationships, advocating for business and external clients by engaging in conversations about security-related requirements.
- Leverage professional experience with security testing tools for product and application security assessments, including SAST, DAST, threat modeling, and penetration testing.
