Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
- Proven ability in creating technical and process documentation
- Experience in developing instructional content using productivity tools
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project delivery methods
- Proficient in Microsoft O365 and Teams
- Strong mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpreting data representations such as graphs
- Valid Wisconsin drivers license
- Proof of minimum auto liability insurance coverage
- Capable of using a reliable personal vehicle for daily travel between county locations
Responsibilities
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 technical support
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements from diverse stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve consensus on Future State workflows
- Create user stories in conjunction with third-party vendors, architects, and developers
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical solution providers throughout project phases
- Develop or update process documentation, user guides, and knowledge articles
- Assist Project Managers with various tasks across county departments
- Independently manage small to medium projects while tracking timelines and plans
- Identify project scope changes and create contingency plans accordingly
- Support project testing phases in collaboration with owners and external teams
- Help internal teams develop training materials for new tools and processes
- Serve as the security administrator for the Countys HRIS system
- Collaborate with departments to recommend and implement improvements to County systems
- Test new hardware or software for compliance with existing applications
- Provide training sessions as assigned, including new hire orientations
- Commit to county safety and risk management initiatives
- Undertake additional duties as needed
