Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, engineering, installing, and commissioning networked automation and industrial control systems
- At least 3 years of experience in network systems design, installation, and configuration
- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing Linux and Windows systems
- Proven experience in network design and analysis to optimize availability, performance, resiliency, and security
- Familiarity with wired and short-range wireless communications used in industrial and embedded applications
- Strong understanding of communication technologies/protocols, including TCP/IP, CAN, Serial, ProfiNET, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, and 802.11
- Demonstrated experience in wireless communications for monitoring high-availability safety-critical systems
- Experience in evaluating and remediating network and system vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of cyber security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint security, VPNs, network monitoring, and SIEM
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for various durations, potentially up to 3 months
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects while coordinating team efforts and prioritizing tasks
- Up-to-date knowledge of evolving network and cyber security issues in OT/ICS systems
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) network architecture and cyber security solutions for automated control systems across diverse ride projects
- Conduct engineering design and analysis for ride system networks, focusing on automation architecture
- Design and validate cyber security solutions and network architectures tailored for ride systems
- Develop, model, and assess data network communication systems
- Research and test new technologies and methodologies, conducting thorough trade-off evaluations
- Prepare and present innovative concepts and standards for cyber security and network architecture
- Establish standards and policies for ride control networks and cyber security architecture
- Collaborate with project teams to address network requirements and resolve implementation challenges
- Work alongside attraction development teams to create and implement ride networks
- Analyze performance requirements for OT networks ensuring high availability and real-time capabilities
- Document and detail requirements and functional specifications through various formats
- Create implementation plans and budget estimates for network control systems
- Develop mock-ups and prototypes to validate concepts
- Establish testing requirements and documentation while overseeing ride network installation and commissioning
