Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or cybersecurity
- Strong experience in developing enterprise-level services and APIs
- Solid grasp of authentication, authorization, and assurance levels
- Hands-on experience with FIDO2 security keys/passkeys and certificate-based authentication (CBA)
- Familiarity with risk-based or adaptive MFA concepts and step-up authentication flows
- Knowledge across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
- Understanding of common MFA threats such as phishing and MFA fatigue
- Strong collaboration abilities and eagerness to learn about modern MFA technologies
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain services that support MFA, PR-MFA, and CBA
- Implement workflows for registration, recovery, and operations
- Facilitate PR-MFA and certificate-based rollout strategies
- Integrate MFA solutions into Identity Providers (IdP), Single Sign-On (SSO), VPN, and endpoint platforms
- Apply FIDO2/passkey and CBA concepts within production environments
- Assist with hardware authenticator enrollment and recovery processes
- Create dashboards to track rollout and support metrics
- Mentor junior engineering staff

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) team within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization. This position will focus on developing scalable and secure enterprise authentication solutions, particularly in Phishing-Resistant MFA (PR-MFA) and certificate-based authentication (CBA).
