Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product management, supply chain technology, or fulfillment operations
- Masters degree or MBA is preferred, but not essential
- Experience in automation (e.g., ASRS, WMS, WES) is highly desirable
- Strong product leadership skills with the ability to simplify complexity into actionable plans
- Proven execution mindset; adept at driving discovery and delivery in fast-paced environments
- In-depth knowledge of grocery fulfillment, labor dynamics, or store operations
- Skill in pinpointing inefficiencies in physical and digital systems to drive automation improvements
- Proficiency in analyzing operational data to prioritize tasks (SQL knowledge is a plus)
- Comfortable creating KPIs and identifying leading indicators for success
- Familiarity with AI practices and tools for product development, including documentation and simulations
- Experience in conducting experimental tests using AI to refine strategies and systems
- Knowledge of responsible AI usage and collaboration with compliance teams is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Direct the strategy for software integration of Automated Pickup and Delivery (APD) across both internal systems and automation vendors to ensure effective and scalable deployment
- Propel the product roadmap for integration and orchestration capabilities to improve fulfillment capacity and maintain on-time performance
- Create comprehensive visibility through all workflows, including inbound and outbound processes, ensuring effective task orchestration among systems
- Utilize AI in product development to enhance documentation processes and optimize operational workflows
- Analyze operational data to spot issues, mitigate rework, and enhance automation reliability
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and partners to design frameworks that cut down customization and facilitate quicker launches
- Engage with inventory and order management teams to guarantee the system design supports overall network efficiency
- Mentor fellow product managers in setting standards for integration and performance analysis
- Spearhead site expansion and deployment initiatives to enable quick and consistent launch of new APD sites
