Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience on the iOS platform
- At least 2 years of programming expertise in Swift
- 1 year of experience with ARKit / ARCore and Core Vision/ML Kit
- Comprehensive knowledge of various aspects of Mobile App Development
- Experience integrating with RESTful backend services
- Proficiency in managing large codebases and executing substantial projects
- Ability to mentor and influence engineers across the organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving mindset and analytical abilities
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Expertise in developing Augmented Reality applications using Unity or other AR SDKs
- Familiarity with Mixed Reality/Virtual Reality (e.g., HoloLens, Gear, Oculus, Vive, Rift)
- Experience using 3D modeling tools such as Maya or Blender
- Background in Game Design, 3D modeling, or 3D Computer Graphics is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery phase of medium to large Mobile Engineering projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams to formulate project strategies
- Troubleshoot issues affecting mobile devices by collecting and evaluating data, and engaging support teams for resolution
- Provide comprehensive mobile engineering support by addressing user inquiries and potential technical challenges
- Guide small project teams within Mobile Engineering by directing project plans and identifying effective solutions
- Oversee medium to large-scale Mobile Engineering projects by translating requirements into mobile solutions for iOS and Android
- Develop and write code applicable across various mobile devices, ensuring integration with multiple operating systems
- Conduct thorough testing to guarantee functionality and enhance design to prevent recurring issues
- Offer expert advice to improve and implement business solutions while building partnerships with key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold our mission and values throughout project execution
