Requirements
Must:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 5 years of experience with the Android platform
- At least 2 years of programming experience in Kotlin
- Minimum of 1 year experience utilizing ARKit/ARCore and Core Vision/ML Kit
- Profound understanding of various aspects of Mobile App Development
- Experience in integrating with REST and GraphQL backend services
- Familiarity with large code bases and managing extensive projects
- Background in mentoring engineers and influencing teams
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
- Good analytical skills and a positive problem-solving approach
Preferred Skills:
- Experience creating Augmented Reality applications with Unity or similar AR SDKs
- Knowledge of Mixed Reality and Virtual Reality platforms (HoloLens, Oculus, etc.)
- Experience with 3D modeling tools like Maya or Blender
- Background in Game Design, 3D modeling, or 3D Computer Graphics is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Direct the discovery phase of medium to large Mobile Engineering projects by working with cross-functional teams to establish project strategies
- Troubleshoot business and production problems for mobile devices by gathering and evaluating relevant information
- Provide mobile engineering support by addressing user inquiries and concerns about technical feasibility and implementation strategies
- Oversee small project teams for Mobile Engineering initiatives by guiding project plans and timelines
- Manage medium- to large-scale Mobile Engineering projects by collaborating with teams to assess project requirements and translating them into mobile solutions
- Write and develop code that can function across various mobile devices and operating systems
- Conduct user interface development and testing to ensure optimal performance of solutions
- Communicate project progress to team members and stakeholders while resolving any emerging issues
- Ensure timely delivery of projects in collaboration with project managers
- Foster adherence to company policies and ethical standards in all business plans and processes
