Requirements
Must:
- 12 years of experience with the Android platform
- Proficient in Kotlin programming language
- Strong understanding of core principles of Android app development, software design patterns, and best practices
- In-depth knowledge of various aspects of mobile app development
- Experience with UIKit and Android Library
- Familiarity with mobile design patterns and architectures
- Ability to integrate with REST-based backend services
- Proven track record in managing large codebases and driving substantial projects
- Experience in mentoring and influencing engineering teams
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to integrate third-party SDKs and APIs
- Skills in caching, logging, performance tuning, and monitoring
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate efforts among small engineering teams, including offshore associates, for assigned projects
- Troubleshoot business and production challenges by evaluating information and determining root causes
- Guide the discovery phase of medium to large projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams for high-level design
- Develop innovation strategies and best practices by leading technical teams and collaborating externally
- Manage complex, cross-functional projects by translating requirements into mobile solutions across various operating systems
- Write and develop code applicable to multiple mobile platforms
- Ensure integration solutions are compatible with different operating systems and conduct thorough testing
- Communicate project status and resolve roadblocks with stakeholders
- Enhance designs to mitigate future issues and ensure timely project delivery
- Promote company policies and foster a culture of ethics and integrity among team members
