Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on Frontend Websites/Sharable Widgets.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, including frameworks such as React, Vue, and Angular, alongside experience with React Router and Redux.
- Skilled in API development and integration, with expertise in Node.js and GraphQL.
- Advanced understanding of complex software architecture, distributed systems, design patterns, and algorithms.
- Excellent technical debugging capabilities and production support skills.
- Familiar with public cloud services, particularly Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Extensive track record in the design and delivery of software products for a large audience.
- Strong decision-making abilities, capable of balancing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledgeable in risk analysis methodologies, user story concepts, and functional/non-functional requirements.
- Familiarity with coding standards, guidelines, and various coding languages, frameworks, and platforms.
- Understanding of quality, safety, and security standards as well as emerging technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD, code management tools, and secure SDLC frameworks and tools.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, conducting code reviews, and leading design discussions to enforce engineering best practices.
- Serve as a technical authority, offering direction and expertise to the team.
- Advocate for coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Oversee the establishment and upkeep of technical architecture that is in alignment with business aspirations and scalability needs.
- Design sophisticated software systems that fulfill performance, security, and scalability requirements.
- Consistently deliver high-quality software by emphasizing unit testing, functional testing, routine code reviews, and integration practices.
- Maintain high standards for quality and operational excellence.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and presentations to communicate architectural decisions clearly.
- Ensure that documentation is in line with project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
- Promote and adhere to technical standards across the organization to drive measurable outcomes and engineering excellence.
- Encourage a culture of learning and innovation through practical technical guidance and mentorship.
- Lead the initial research phase for major projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical prerequisites.
- Collaborate with various teams to outline project scopes and milestones.
- Work closely with Product Management, UX/UI, Quality Assurance, and DevOps teams.
- Effectively communicate intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay informed on technological advancements by researching emerging tools and methodologies.
