Principal Software Engineer - Android

- Guide and oversee work done by small teams of engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned engineering tasks by providing essential documentation and guidance - Troubleshoot and resolve business and production issues through detailed analysis and collaboration with support teams - Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects by partnering with various teams to create high-level designs and obtaining necessary approvals - Develop innovation strategies and best practices by collaborating with cross-functional teams and assessing key opportunities - Manage medium to large-scale cross-functional projects within Mobile Engineering, translating requirements into mobile solutions for multiple operating systems - Write and develop scalable code that applies to various mobile devices; integrate solutions to cater to multiple platforms - Ensure timely delivery of projects by communicating the status and potential roadblocks to team members and stakeholders - Enhance design to prevent defects and ensure overall functionality of mobile solutions - Promote and enforce company policies, ethics, and values across the organization
