Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in software engineering or related area, or 7 years of equivalent experience
- Proficient in Javascript/TypeScript and frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
- Extensive experience in API integration and development, including Node.js and GraphQL
- Strong knowledge of complex software architecture and design patterns
- Excellent debugging and production support capabilities
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud
- Experience in developing software products for a large user base
- Solid decision-making abilities within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Understanding of risk analysis methodologies and functional/non-functional requirements
- Knowledgeable in coding standards, telemetry, CI/CD, and software development life cycle (SDLC)
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers
- Conduct code reviews and lead design discussions to uphold engineering best practices
- Act as a technical authority, offering direction and expertise to the team
- Drive the adoption of coding standards and development methodologies
- Create and maintain technical architecture aligned with business goals and scalability
- Design complex software solutions ensuring performance and security
- Produce high-quality software with an emphasis on testing and continuous integration
- Develop clear technical documentation and presentations for architectural decisions
- Ensure project documentation aligns with scopes and milestones
- Foster a culture of innovation through mentorship and hands-on support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to outline project scopes and objectives
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay updated on technological advances to identify new tools and methodologies
