Principal Back End Software Engineer - Cassville

- Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering focused on high-availability systems. - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Java. - Experience in data engineering and managing large datasets. - Knowledge of databases, including vector and big data technologies. - Familiarity with distributed computing, containerization (Docker/K8s), and multi-cloud environments. - Demonstrated history of successfully building software systems from inception to deployment. - Proven ability to create solutions addressing complex business challenges. - Exceptional problem-solving abilities, balancing long-term goals with short-term design decisions. - In-depth knowledge of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, CI/CD, and operational excellence practices. - Strong communication and teamwork skills, including consensus building and conflict resolution. - Experience mentoring and coaching engineers in technical problem-solving and career growth. - Eagerness to learn new domains and technologies. - Preferred experience with GenAI technologies, such as LLMs, RAG, and cloud-based AI platforms like GCP Vertex AI or Azure.
