Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or 5 years of experience in software engineering or a similar area.
- 7 years of relevant experience in software engineering or a comparable role can substitute for the degree requirement.
- Deep expertise in mobile engineering, ideally with proficiency in Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects with substantial technical influence.
- Strong capability in scaling mobile systems and enhancing performance.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile architecture, CI/CD processes, and integrating backend services.
- Experience mentoring and guiding other engineers, contributing to technical and design decision-making.
- Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and creating inclusive digital experiences is preferred.
- Interest in furthering technical leadership and expanding responsibilities in this area.
- For Senior Software Engineer positions: 3-7 years of native mobile development success and debugging complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance native mobile platforms utilized by millions of consumers daily.
- Design mobile system architectures that ensure high performance, reliability, and speed to facilitate rapid product delivery.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to create refined and user-friendly experiences.
- Spearhead the discovery phase, prototyping, and provide technical leadership for innovative mobile features.
- Write and maintain high-quality production code, focusing on debugging, performance optimization, and readiness for deployment.
- Mentor and assist team members to elevate mobile engineering standards across the organization.
