Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
- At least 8-12 years of software engineering experience, focusing on highly available systems
- Proficiency in backend programming, particularly in Java
- Experience with databases, including vector and big data technologies
- Knowledge of distributed computing and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments
- Expertise in distributed systems and service-oriented architecture
- Strong background in CI/CD and operational excellence best practices
- Proven ability to mentor and guide engineers in technical problem-solving
- Preferred: Experience with generative AI technologies, such as LLMs, and cloud-based AI platforms like GCP Vertex AI or Azure
Responsibilities
- Contribute to building the AI infrastructure for conversational assistant services
- Design, implement, and manage conversational and agent-based AI systems
- Collaborate with mobile, web, and backend teams to enhance scalable intelligence solutions
- Lead and mentor development teams in creating complex systems
- Stay updated with technical advancements to influence system architecture
- Engage in prototyping, research, and coding scalable consumer-facing systems
- Partner with business and product teams to align with long-term objectives
- Promote a culture of operational and engineering excellence
- Conduct code reviews and participate in troubleshooting sessions to uphold development standards
- Provide mentorship to engineers and help nurture talent
