Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is essential
- At least 6 years of experience within the aluminum sector
- In-depth technical knowledge of aluminum cast house equipment and processes
- Proficient in computer-aided design and relevant business software
- Proven ability in customer relations
- Experience in managing industrial capital projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities across diverse groups
- Capability to work autonomously, exercising discretion and sound judgment
Responsibilities
- Assess technical proposal materials
- Generate proposal drawings when necessary
- Deliver preliminary conceptual design illustrations for proposals
- Create and uphold lists of deliverables and specifications for proposals/projects
- Maintain product input forms associated with proposals
- Gather site design requirements, such as interfaces and process specifications for sales orders
- Transfer comprehensive supply specifications along with preliminary design sketches to the engineering department for sales orders necessitating design engineering
- Engage in occasional domestic and international travel based on customer and company needs
- Contribute to the development of new and standard products, product variations, and systems
- Construct and maintain product definition documents
- Conduct product analysis studies
- Actively engage in final sales order contract discussions
- Adhere to company policies
- Be prepared to work beyond 40 hours per week to meet business objectives
- Execute additional tasks related to basic electrical or mechanical engineering pertaining to Wagstaff-supplied equipment
- Fulfill other assigned responsibilities as needed
Description
At Wagstaff, we manufacture equipment for aluminum producers who transform aluminum into various components and products that people use daily. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts, and we offer a competitive salary ranging from $81,000 to $130,000.
