Requirements

Must:
- Solid hands-on experience with SQL - Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis - Proven track record in maintaining data quality across structured datasets - Familiarity with taxonomies, classification systems, or reference data - High adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools and workflows - Effective time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong curiosity and willingness to explore new technologies, especially AI-driven methods - Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities - Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members

Responsibilities

- Maintain and refine data taxonomies, including classifications for jobs, skills, and compensation - Monitor data quality by identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies in datasets - Prepare data samples and extracts for internal analysis, modeling, and client requirements - Assist in data enrichment initiatives by utilizing AI models to enhance and classify data - Write and optimize SQL queries for analysis, validation, and data transformation - Employ Python for data cleaning, automation, and enrichment processes - Document data definitions, quality checks, and enrichment procedures for cross-team clarity

We are seeking a Data Specialist to collaborate closely with our Product Management team, including product managers, engineers, and analysts, ensuring that our data aligns with product strategies and customer needs. This hybrid role, based in Minneapolis, allows for a blend of in-office collaboration and remote work, offering about 3–4 hours of in-person meetings weekly. By joining us, you will be part of a collaborative environment focused on data quality and innovation, with hands-on exposure to AI-driven data enrichment and essential tools.
