Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field from a US-accredited institution
- Over 8 years of comprehensive software development experience
- Extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development
- Proficient in PHP 8+ (Laravel or other MVC frameworks)
- Knowledgeable in Python 3.9+
- Skilled in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experienced with relational databases and SQL (MySQL preferred; Aurora MySQL is a bonus)
- Capable of designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiar with Git version control and deployment processes
- More than 3 years of object-oriented programming experience in a statically typed language
- Strong grasp of data structures, data typing, and software design principles
Responsibilities
- Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): planning, development, testing, deployment, and support
- Deliver comprehensive application development from UI/UX to backend services and databases
- Design and create scalable, maintainable, and secure web applications
- Produce clean, reusable, and thoroughly tested code
- Identify, prioritize, and carry out tasks independently in an agile setting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Maintain and enhance existing applications
