Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline.
- You should possess 1-3 years of experience in IT auditing, IT risk management, or cybersecurity, ideally within an external audit firm (Big4 experience is an advantage).
- A good understanding of IT controls, cybersecurity principles, and risk management frameworks is essential.
- Familiarity with financial systems, ERP software, and data analytics is necessary.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST, GDPR, SOX, or PCI-DSS is expected.
- I am looking for someone who can analyze IT processes, access controls, network security, and system vulnerabilities effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are important.
- Experience with audit tools and data analysis software (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Power BI, or SQL) is a must.
- Proficiency in the Chinese language is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- I will conduct IT audits to evaluate security, risk management, and internal controls for my clients.
- I will assess IT general controls (ITGCs) and application controls within financial systems.
- I will review IT policies, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards (such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, GDPR).
- I will evaluate clients’ data security, cybersecurity threats, and business continuity plans.
- I will support financial auditors in incorporating IT audit findings into comprehensive financial audit processes.
- I will perform data analytics and system testing to aid financial audits.
- I will assess ERP systems, databases, and IT infrastructure for financial integrity and fraud risks.
Description
- I will provide guidance on IT security enhancements, industry best practices, and compliance strategies. - I will collaborate closely with clients to clarify IT audit findings and assist with remedial actions. - I will conduct IT risk assessments and offer advisory services for clients’ internal teams. - I will prepare audit reports, risk assessments, and evaluations of IT controls. - I will document findings with supporting evidence and suggest action plans. - This is a full-time position offering a salary between $70,000.00 and $80,000.00 per year. - I prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience in IT auditing and require a Bachelor's degree. - The role is in-person, and proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
