Requirements
Must:
- We require a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or an associate degree in a related area combined with relevant certifications and equivalent experience.
- We require at least 2 years of experience in IT network support or help desk environments.
- We expect proficiency in installing and supporting Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019.
- We require hands-on experience with desktop and networking hardware, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, DFS, GPO, VMware, SAN, and data/file security.
- We value strong problem-solving, prioritization, and task ownership skills with a sense of urgency.
- We require excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities
- We provide first-line support for onsite and remote users in a secure help desk environment.
- We handle technical assistance and installation support for servers, workstations, laptops, and smartphones.
- We upgrade hardware and software to maintain strong workstation performance.
- We set up, test, install, and update operating systems and application software.
- We administer and maintain core systems such as Active Directory, MS Exchange 2016, VMware, endpoint management tools, Mitel phone systems, and printers.
- We collaborate with infrastructure and database administrators, system integration and project managers, and our onsite and offshore software development teams.
- We coordinate with IT vendors for hardware, software, communications, and related services.
- We troubleshoot network equipment, printers, and business-critical applications.
- We support the rollout of new hardware and software solutions, including recommending upgrades and new purchases.
- We participate in after-hours on-call coverage and scheduled maintenance as needed.
- We manage assigned support tickets through completion and ensure final resolution in our internal help desk system.
