Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Over 3 years of software development experience, ideally in industrial or machine control sectors
- Proficient in C++ and/or C# programming languages
- Strong grasp of multithreading, concurrency, and real-time system concepts
- Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL
- Capability to troubleshoot complex interactions between software and hardware systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a systems-oriented approach
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Regular attendance at the WARDJet facility is mandatory for scheduled hours
- Willingness to be trained in operating waterjet machines for software testing purposes
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software for CNC machine control systems and associated applications
- Create and maintain software interfaces between embedded hardware and higher-level applications
- Adhere to best practices in code organization, documentation, and version control
- Collaborate with the engineering team to assess software-hardware interfaces and formulate specifications and performance standards
- Assist internal teams (Technical Support, Production, Field Service) in diagnosing and remedying software-related challenges
- Provide necessary support to Technical Support or Production staff as required
