Requirements

Must:
- High School Diploma/GED and prior experience in a technical support role. - Familiarity with hardware components including printers, terminals, PCs, and RF communication devices. - Understanding of personal computer hardware and operating systems. - Proficiency in various software applications, such as Microsoft Windows OS and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer). - Proven ability to adhere to processes, suggest improvements, translate technical jargon for non-technical users, solve technical challenges, and work collaboratively in a team setting. - Flexibility to provide support during weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

- Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software related to desktop PCs, printers, PC hardware systems, LAN, and RF devices. - Execute and oversee batch processes, including integrated store order handling and generate picking documentation. - Serve as the first point of support for issues arising with production equipment. - Offer technical assistance for standard and bespoke desktop software while engaging respectfully with a diverse range of stakeholders, including team members, management, business clients, and vendors. - Gather information needed for standard desktop relocations and setups by probing and addressing end-user needs. - Transport and handle PCs, monitors, terminals, and printers for deployment, and either repair or liaise with vendors for complex repairs. - Diagnose and resolve networking issues and systems, encompassing PC networking components such as switches and cabling, as well as RF wireless frameworks. - Manage and troubleshoot proprietary material handling software and systems from suppliers like Dematic and Schaefer. - Respond to inquiries regarding software and hardware issues for PCs and printers, providing IT recommendations as required.
