Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration
- Proven capability to manage a ticket queue autonomously in a dynamic MSP setting
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with RMM, PSA, and documentation systems
- Comfortable operating independently within a small team
- Excellent written communication skills
- Professionalism in client interaction
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively without constant supervision
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of support tickets from initiation to resolution (Level 1 & Level 2)
- Troubleshoot Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and line-of-business applications
- Communicate professionally and clearly with clients
- Meet response and resolution expectations independently
- Make appropriate escalations while working independently whenever feasible
- Administer Microsoft 365 applications (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Manage users, licensing, MFA, conditional access, and security compliance
- Experience with SaaS platforms including RMM, EDR, VoIP systems, and cybersecurity tools
- Support endpoint security and compliance via RMM and EDR
- Assist with firewall configuration changes
- Support VoIP systems and backup solutions
- Identify and proactively address security vulnerabilities
- Maintain accurate documentation in IT Glue
- Enhance standard operating procedures and internal guidelines
- Identify recurring issues and devise preventative strategies
- Contribute to uniformity across all client environments

At VoxConnect, we are a dedicated Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) supporting nonprofit and professional-service organizations throughout Chicago and the North Shore. We pride ourselves on being a reliable technical partner, prioritizing high accountability and ownership in our service delivery. We offer a hybrid working environment—3 to 4 days a week in the office or client locations—allowing for both flexibility and hands-on engagement. Our compensation starts at $60,000 to $65,000 based on experience, with a structured review after 6 months, in addition to a range of benefits including medical insurance reimbursement, PTO, and professional development support.
