Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience with AWS services, including ECS/EKS, Kinesis/Kafka, and RDS/Postgres.
- Previous experience in developing scalable, fault-tolerant distributed microservices using Python.
- Practical experience with CI/CD methodologies, utilizing GitHub and testing frameworks such as PyUnit and Pytest.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments for backend software development.
- Expertise in system design, encompassing requirements gathering, data scaling, API definition, and assessing trade-offs of various components.
- Excellent communication abilities in English, enabling effective interaction with team members in both written and verbal forms.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative work in a dynamic startup setting.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services to support real-time 3D positioning and IoT solutions.
- Develop Python-based microservices on AWS to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with frontend and edge teams to achieve system integration.
- Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
- Take ownership of projects from initial concept through to production in an agile development environment.
