Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in backend software engineering
- Proficient in Go (Golang) or a strong willingness to quickly learn
- Proven experience in designing and operating scalable distributed systems
- In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, system design, and backend architecture
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Redis
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills in production settings
- Experience with time-series or high-volume data systems (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of ClickHouse or similar analytics databases (nice-to-have)
- Experience using Python (FastAPI) (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
- Exposure to event-driven systems like Kafka, Pub/Sub, or gRPC (nice-to-have)
- Relevant experience in addressing customer-facing technical issues (nice-to-have)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global or distributed teams (nice-to-have)
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a bonus but not mandatory (nice-to-have)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend services and APIs
- Take ownership of features from the technical design phase through production rollout
- Collaborate closely with Product to transform requirements into technical implementations
- Troubleshoot and fix complex issues in production across distributed systems
- Work alongside international engineering teams to deliver top-quality features
- Contribute to system architecture and strive for ongoing performance improvements
