Requirements
Must:
- Proven professional experience in C++ programming, specifically in the realm of embedded systems
- Practical knowledge of firmware and embedded solutions, with an emphasis on hardware-software interaction
- Ability to work collaboratively within an agile development framework
- Exceptional communication abilities to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated skills in debugging embedded systems utilizing tools such as GDB or equivalent
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with networking principles and protocols (preferred)
- Experience with Linux as both a development and target OS (preferred)
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and tool creation (preferred)
- Understanding of agile practices, such as Scrum and Kanban (preferred)
- Experience with version control tools, particularly Git (preferred)
- Proficiency with development environments like CMake and VSCode (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain resilient software solutions using C++ for firmware and embedded systems
- Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including quality assurance and product management, to deliver superior integrated solutions
- Engage with Product Owners and various business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and offer technical insights
- Participate actively in the entire software development lifecycle, including coding, extensive testing, and thorough documentation
- Prepare and present clear and concise technical documentation and reports
- Analyze complex code bases to detect issues, propose creative solutions, and implement effective resolutions
