Must:
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field; or equivalent experience at the engineer/technical specialist level.
- Willingness and physical ability to support plant inspections and walkdowns.
- Proficient in the use of PCs, engineering-specific software, and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years related job experience.
- Previous experience in the nuclear sector is advantageous.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities across various organizational levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating complex technical matters.
- Ability to influence and foster effective professional relationships across departments.
- Comprehensive understanding of power plant equipment and their interconnections.
- Capable of assessing technical options considering economic implications.
- Skilled in utilizing systematic problem-solving processes to tackle intricate challenges.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate the resolution of emergent and near-term engineering tasks to safeguard the work week schedule.
- Act as the engineering liaison for executing the online work week schedule and addressing Engineering Holds.
- Provide engineering insights and follow-up on Operability evaluations.
- Offer engineering support for testing and validation after work completion.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis (e.g., FMEA).
- Execute equipment condition evaluations and assist with minor design modifications.
- Contribute technical guidance for testing procedures and analyses.
- Aid in addressing operational challenges.
- Support planning and provide assistance for urgent inquiries and field tasks.
- Draft and carry out Minor Design Modifications.
- Lead the interpretation and examination of intricate technical challenges.
- Oversee assigned projects, studies, and initiatives until completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports with recommendations for problem resolution.
- Participate in and occasionally lead special projects and committees.
- Carry out all other duties as assigned.
