Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline preferred, along with 2 years of relevant experience or 8 years of equivalent related work experience in Project Management, preferably in nuclear
- Familiarity with plant equipment, systems, and processes is advantageous
- Proficient technical knowledge in project implementation
- Understanding of regulations, codes, standards, policies, and procedures relevant to the area of expertise
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions to achieve desired objectives, including teamwork with industry professionals on joint assignments
Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing project metrics, such as cost and schedule performance
- Evaluate proposals, documents, and various reports
- Identify and suggest corrective actions to address current and upcoming issues
- Plan and coordinate necessary activities to meet defined scopes of work
- Assist in coordinating personnel and work tasks as required
- Act as a backup project manager when needed
- Maintain a comprehensive overview of projects with an emphasis on risk management and potential coordination challenges
- Prepare training materials and conduct sessions on standard and updated procedures and processes
- Support the development of project reporting and project controls
