Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical field; Electrical Engineering preferred.
- In-depth understanding of power plant systems, including engineering principles related to design, operation, and equipment reliability.
- Extensive familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and plant-specific procedures governing nuclear power plant operation and design.
- Practical experience in planning, scheduling, and cost control linked to engineering activities and outage support.
- Proven track record in providing technical leadership and overseeing engineering teams.

Responsibilities
- Provide first-level leadership and management for the Plant Support Engineering team, ensuring alignment with plant priorities and the safe, reliable operation of systems.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of the System Health Team, focusing on the identification, prioritization, and resolution of performance issues related to systems and equipment.
- Represent Plant Support Engineering in outage management teams and interdisciplinary plant meetings.
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate plant systems, driving both immediate and long-term performance enhancements.
- Develop, manage, and execute corrective and improvement plans to resolve plant performance challenges promptly.
- Direct and prioritize daily tasks of team members to fulfill plant, outage, and regulatory commitments.
- Coordinate staffing and resource allocation, including on-call support, outage coverage, and special project requirements.
- Conduct performance management for team members, covering goal setting, reviews, coaching, and salary considerations.
- Plan and coordinate extensive engineering projects, task teams, and special initiatives involving multiple disciplines.
- Review and approve the quality of engineering outputs and deliverables produced by the team.
- Manage budgets and resource utilization effectively, ensuring that engineering tasks align with departmental and site objectives.
