Manager, Plant Support Engineering

- Lead and supervise the Plant Support Engineering team, ensuring alignment with plant priorities and promoting safe, dependable operations. - Organize and oversee System Health Team activities, focusing on identification, prioritization, and resolution of system and equipment performance challenges. - Represent Plant Support Engineering in outage management teams and cross-departmental plant discussions. - Monitor, analyze, and assess plant systems to drive both short- and long-term performance enhancements. - Create and manage corrective and improvement action plans, ensuring timely execution and effective resolution of plant performance concerns. - Direct and prioritize daily operational tasks of team members to fulfill plant, outage, and regulatory obligations. - Coordinate staffing and resource allocations, including on-call support, outage coverage, and specific project requirements. - Carry out performance management functions for team members, encompassing goal-setting, performance evaluations, coaching, and remuneration actions. - Plan and manage large or complex engineering tasks, project teams, and interdisciplinary special projects. - Review and approve engineering outputs and work results from the group to ensure quality standards are met. - Oversee the allocated budget and resource use, ensuring engineering projects are completed efficiently and align with departmental and site objectives.
