Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in product management and ownership within a contemporary software development environment
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in making data-driven decisions
- Extensive experience in crafting detailed user story requirements along with acceptance criteria; proficient in collaborating with scrum teams to ensure successful scope delivery
- Familiarity with SAFe, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
- Experience in PI planning
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and working within a development team
- Exceptional communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Direct the creation and execution of product strategies, informed by a thorough understanding of business functions and incorporating insights from customers, markets, competitors, and distribution channels
- Anticipate future product opportunities ahead of obsolescence, orchestrate strategic planning, and articulate business requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute a prioritized product roadmap
- Gather data and establish test plans to ensure decisions are based on data; utilize insights to guide work priorities
- Actively gather input from stakeholders to align the roadmap with business and customer requirements
- Project return on investment, provide regular updates on product performance post-launch, boost product adoption, and spearhead optimization plans
- Define goals, metrics, and analytics to assess product value; continually recommend and adjust the product backlog based on insights gained
- Oversee the management and refinement of the product backlog, making future decisions based on anticipated value delivery
- Research industry trends and the competitive landscape to propose optimal solutions and ensure products remain or become leading in their class
- Develop, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing
- Create, prioritize, and formally accept user stories, integrating them into release plans
- Manage product lifecycles by continuously assessing product performance and key customer insights, ensuring that new product requirements are identified in advance of potential obsolescence
- Convey product information, including the roadmap, specifications, value propositions, and sales training materials to stakeholders, providing regular status updates to the PMO
