Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
- 5 to 10 years of experience with Microsoft O365, preferred
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
- 3 years of experience with PowerShell scripting, preferred
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience in installing and troubleshooting client/server applications and operating systems
- Familiarity with deploying MS Windows Desktop OS using Microsoft Intune
- Knowledge in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure management
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organizational and attention to detail skills
- Strong time management abilities and capability to meet deadlines
- High professionalism in handling confidential matters
- Ability to explain complex information to non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Adaptability and emotional intelligence
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, design, and select new hardware and applications
- Implement and configure Microsoft and Linux operating systems
- Provide ongoing support for the VA Space Microsoft GCC High tenant for O365 and Azure Cloud Services
- Support the Service Desk as needed and facilitate problem resolution
- Develop user documentation and training material
- Manage end-user devices utilizing desktop and mobile device management tools
- Maintain user accounts and computer information in Active Directory
- Monitor system performance for both on-site and hosted resources
- Automate tasks using scripting techniques
- Assist with consulting and project management as required
- Perform additional tasks assigned within the roles scope
