Requirements
Must:
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Microsoft 365 environments
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (GSuite) environments
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Awareness of common business IT solutions such as backups, endpoint protection, and email/cloud security
- General knowledge of security or compliance frameworks including NIST, CMMC, and SOC 2
- Strong documentation and communication abilities
- Professional interaction skills with customers
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to analysis
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of customer IT systems and solutions
- Perform on-site inspections and direct system reviews
- Engage in customer interviews and review documentation
- Thoroughly document customer IT environments and configurations in our knowledge base
- Assess environments against established standards and identify systemic gaps
- Produce clear reports detailing alignment status and identifying non-compliant systems or solutions
- Highlight risk observations and suggest areas for improvement
- Recommend practical remediation options and assist with their implementation
- Periodically repeat discovery activities to keep information up to date

We are a locally owned IT Managed Service Provider based in Austin, Texas, seeking a full-time IT Alignment Analyst to aid in supporting our customers compliance, security, and alignment with best practices. The IT Alignment Analyst will focus on assessing and documenting customer IT environments against industry standards such as NIST, CMMC, and SOC 2.
