Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline is essential
- Over 5 years of experience in project management
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams, including mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineers
- Desired background in robotics, controls, or automation in manufacturing
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities
Responsibilities
- Delegate tasks and coordinate efforts among engineers, technicians, and administrative personnel
- Collaborate with various engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and automation teams to outline and schedule project milestones
- Ensure that all projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and on budget
- Develop comprehensive project charters that define project scope, background, key stakeholders, deliverables, constraints, and assumptions
- Utilize Microsoft Planner or similar tools to create and monitor project schedules
- Effectively manage project changes using an engineering change order procedure
- Craft proposals to offer professional services or secure funding for engineering initiatives or programs
- Maintain ongoing updates and communication with company leadership and clients
