Requirements
Must:
- Basic understanding of web development encompassing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), and UI/UX principles
- Experience with ASP.NET (MVC), Entity Framework, WCF, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub, Git, SVN, and TFS
- Knowledge of database design principles and competency in SQL T-SQL queries; exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB is advantageous
- Understanding of software development methodologies including Agile/Scrum and best practices in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Capability to perform debugging and unit testing to guarantee code quality across various platforms
- Exposure to cloud services like AWS or Azure for application deployment and management
- Fundamental awareness of multithreading concepts, application security best practices, and API integration techniques
Responsibilities
- Assist in building web applications utilizing technologies such as ASP.NET, React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Work alongside senior developers to integrate front-end UI elements and back-end services adhering to software development best practices
- Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Produce clean, efficient code with an emphasis on debugging and resolving issues across multiple platforms like Linux and Windows servers
- Aid in database design and administration using SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB; assist in database optimization and query tuning
- Contribute to the development of RESTful APIs and web services using SOAP or WCF to enable seamless system integration
- Participate in Agile development practices, attend daily stand-up meetings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
