Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in SQL programming with experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis skills using R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and ETL tools such as Talend.
- Demonstrated experience creating dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker that influence business decisions.
- Knowledge of database design principles and experience working with linked data concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices to deliver projects efficiently within SDLC frameworks.
- Excellent business analysis capabilities including requirements gathering, KPI development, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience working with analytics tools such as Visio for process documentation and visualization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of data governance standards and best practices for ensuring data quality and security.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools to spot patterns, trends, and opportunities for business enhancement.
- Design and craft interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization platforms to communicate insights in a clear and effective manner.
- Lead data integration initiatives through ETL processes using Talend, Bash scripts, VBA, and manage databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Collaborate within Agile project management frameworks to strategize, execute, and deliver data-driven solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Conduct thorough business analysis by gathering requirements, defining KPIs, and translating complex data into comprehensible narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in database design and optimization efforts to ensure effective and scalable data storage solutions.
- Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for analytics projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring quality and security standards are upheld.
- Apply Linked Data principles to enrich data connectivity across various sources for enhanced insights.
- Document processes visually with Visio and maintain detailed records of project workflows and technical specifications.
