Requirements

Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree in IT or a related field preferred - 4-6 years of demonstrated experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, System Analyst, IT Help Desk Technician, or in a similar capacity - Proven background as a Desktop Technician or in a related IT support role - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities - In-depth knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and their associated software - Experience in diagnosing and solving hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops - Understanding of network configurations and troubleshooting (LAN, VPN, Wi-Fi) - Exceptional communication and customer service skills - Capability to prioritize and handle multiple technical tasks in a dynamic environment - Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and other enterprise tools is advantageous - Knowledge of healthcare cybersecurity and privacy regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and HITRUST

Responsibilities

- Deliver technical support to end-users remotely for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues - Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware on desktops, laptops, and related devices - Maintain and update operating systems and software across all desktop systems - Address problems tied to Citrix Receiver, Citrix Workspace, and other Citrix products - Diagnose and rectify technical concerns, including system crashes, slow performance, and network connectivity issues - Work collaboratively with other IT team members to ensure consistent IT service delivery - Document technical problems, solutions, and procedures for our internal knowledge base - Assist in managing inventory, ensuring that all desktop-related hardware is accounted for and properly maintained - Provide training and support to end-users on common desktop-related issues and software utilization - Aid in drafting documentation for HITRUST audits and certifications, ensuring compliance with necessary controls and security expectations by gathering evidence and preparing documentation - Maintain precise records of compliance activities and assist in tracking remediation strategies for security vulnerabilities or issues - Offer administrative support for the development and upkeep of compliance reports and security metrics - Learn and apply knowledge related to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and security best practices - Uphold the standards established by our Core Values and ensure that business operations are conducted with accuracy and the utmost ethical standards
