Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in Python development
- Strong grasp of object-oriented and functional programming principles
- Proven experience in creating financial or transactional systems such as accounting, banking, lending, insurance, or investment platforms
- Proficiency in MySQL database management
- Skilled in building and utilizing REST APIs
- Familiar with message queues and asynchronous programming paradigms
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing
- Proficient in version control with Git
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and uphold financial software systems using Python
- Create RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate financial transactions, reporting, and data synchronization
- Implement data processing pipelines for both real-time and batch financial data
- Integrate with external APIs, banking services, and payment processors
- Ensure the security, compliance, and performance of applications under various loads
- Write clean, maintainable, and rigorously tested code
- Collaborate effectively with product managers and QA engineers
- Engage in code reviews and architectural discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise
