Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering - Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant fields - Expertise in low-power battery-operated embedded devices including battery life analysis and improvement strategies - Proficient in low-power wireless protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Ultra Wideband (UWB) - Experience with computer vision cameras and performing ISP on raw images - Skilled in developing firmware using Free RTOS or equivalent Operating Systems - Ability to write custom drivers for UART, SPI, and I2C - Knowledge in wireless protocol firmware stacks and improving manufacturing throughput

Responsibilities

- Create, develop, and test firmware for multiple applications - Deliver firmware solutions to a wide range of global Fortune 500 clients - Work on low-power inference technologies suitable for edge computing - Diagnose and strategize improvements for battery consumption issues - Collaborate closely with our QA team to formulate and implement test cases - Ensure compliance with product-level requirements and review test outcomes - Establish and uphold robust coding standards and documentation policies - Lead firmware releases from conception through to deployment - Utilize analytics tools (Hex) for remote device monitoring in the field - Develop and maintain internal tools/scripts using Python and Bash for various operations - Troubleshoot and resolve intricate system failures associated with timing and synchronization - Integrate proprietary computer vision algorithms into low-powered, embedded systems - Participate in defining software requirements collaboratively with the team - Conduct unit tests to verify the functionality of the developed firmware - Document software designs meticulously and communicate effectively within the team
