We are looking for a diligent Support Technician with varying levels of IT support experience. Level 1 requires 0–2 years (experience in a Managed Service Provider setting is preferred), while Level 2 seeks 2–4 years of experience handling escalated issues. A technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience is desired, along with a proven history of delivering outstanding customer service. Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or similar credentials. Additional relevant certifications like Azure or Security+ are also beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be your first point of contact for technical issues from our clients, assisting through phone, email, or our ticketing system. I will diagnose and resolve challenges related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals. Additionally, I will support Microsoft 365 administration, email systems, and other line-of-business applications. When complex issues arise, I will perform remote troubleshooting and escalate them to higher-level support if necessary. It is also my responsibility to install, configure, and maintain software and hardware per our companys standards, accurately document all service requests and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system, as well as assist with user onboarding and system maintenance tasks. I am committed to providing excellent customer service, remaining professional under pressure, and contributing to the identification of recurring issues for continuous process improvements.
Description
I will be expected to meet key performance indicators including customer satisfaction scores, ticket response and resolution times according to our established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and accurate documentation adherence. My role involves effective prioritization of workload management, contributing to team success, knowledge sharing, and process enhancement. The working environment will primarily be office-based or remote with potential client site visits, anticipating up to 30% travel. Also, I need to be physically able to lift and move computer equipment (up to 40 lbs), sit for extended periods, and effectively use a computer and phone. Opportunities for advancement to higher-level technician roles, systems engineer, or project implementation positions will be available, along with support for further professional certifications and ongoing training. We offer a pay range of $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, alongside various benefits including 401(k), dental and health insurance, paid time off, and professional development assistance. The work location is hybrid-remote in Addison, TX 75001.
