Requirements
Must:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Over 5 years of experience in IT support, with direct involvement in both macOS and Windows environments
- More than 5 years of hands-on experience in disassembling and reassembling all Apple and Windows devices (screens, logic boards, motherboards, hard drives, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365, Apple OS, and Windows OS for over 5 years
- Capacity to manage several tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure setting
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Apple Certified Support Professional, Microsoft certifications) are advantageous but not mandatory
- Valid drivers license
- Access to reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance for both macOS and Windows operating systems
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Apple and Microsoft hardware (MacBooks, iMacs, PCs, printers)
- Install and configure Windows servers, DNS, GPO, firewalls, and domain controllers
- Offer remote technical support and configurations to clients
- Thrive in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
- Aid with software deployments, updates, and patch management
- Troubleshoot networking issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, shared drives)
- Record incidents, requests, and resolutions within a ticketing system
- Educate and support users with technical issues and new technologies
- Completely disassemble and reassemble all Apple products (MacBook screens, logic boards, etc.) and Windows devices (hard drives, screens, fans, etc.)
- Possess knowledge of all computer hardware for both Apple and Windows systems, understanding the differences between each component from models dating back to 2015 through to 2026
- Visit clients offices to conduct upgrades, installations, and configurations
