Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management Information Systems (MIS) - 5-7 years of experience in software systems, programming, database development, and infrastructure development and administration - Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in software development - 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud-supported programming languages such as Java or Python - 2+ years of practical experience with AWS services including Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, KMS, IAM, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS, and DynamoDB - Proficiency with CI/CD tools like CloudFormation and BitBucket - Familiarity with AWS Serverless architecture - Understanding of relational database management systems and data integration tools - Knowledge of distributed architectural design patterns - Strong skills in various programming languages and technologies - Experience with infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or similar techniques - Familiarity with monitoring tools like DataDog, SumoLogic, NewRelic, and Nagios - Proficient Linux-based systems administration and scripting skills in a cloud environment - Experience working within Agile Scrum practices is a plus

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement solutions ensuring compliance with established standards and processes - Migrate Oracle DB tables, PL/SQL stored procedures, and Informatica ETL to AWS cloud-native solutions - Perform data analysis, manage data lineage, and validate the quality of migrated data - Create AWS cloud solutions and continuous delivery frameworks to enhance deployment efficiency - Write complex code, build infrastructure as code, and create automated tools for system testing and deployment - Establish quality criteria and validation methods to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations - Utilize metrics to evaluate new initiatives and formulate plans including budgets, sequencing, and timelines - Review work processes for continuous improvement and implement best practices from industry - Generate design specifications, conduct unit tests, and prepare technical documentation as needed
