Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, with a strong focus on cloud and big data technologies.
- Extensive knowledge in healthcare is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to work in an Agile scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with cutting-edge data and analytics technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and AWS.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Strong background in relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services such as EC2, EMR, RDS, and Redshift.
- Experience with stream processing systems such as Storm and Spark-Streaming.
- Skilled in object-oriented scripting languages like Python, Java, C++, or Scala.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for working with unstructured datasets.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Begin working remotely, transitioning to Fort Lauderdale, FL.
- Develop and deliver solutions within an Agile scrum framework as needed.
- Generate deliverables with minimal oversight.
- Construct and manage expansive, intricate data sets fulfilling both functional and non-functional business needs.
- Identify, design, and implement enhancements to internal processes.
- Build infrastructure to optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources leveraging SQL and cloud big data technologies.
- Create and refine data pipelines, managing data sets, transformations, and metadata.
- Conduct root cause analysis of internal and external data and processes to resolve specific business inquiries and pinpoint enhancement opportunities.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
